Entry-Level Robot Engineer / Programmer
Fives DyAG Corp. is looking for an Entry-Level Robot Engineer / Programmer to join our team based out of our Farmington Hills, MI office. This is a full-time direct hire position.
Fives DyAG's engineers work in a variety of environments and locations. The role requires strong technical knowledge, sound experience and people-skills, to effectively solve issues as they arise.
Job Description:
Classroom or practical knowledge of robotic systems. ie: Fanuc, ABB, or Kuka, etc.
Able to learn Advanced Programming with various robots
Experience setting up various robot communication protocols (i.e. DeviceNet, Profibus, ProfiNet, Ethernet IP) is a plus
Create Robotic Simulations of Robotic Stations (if Simulation Engineer)
Write Robot Software
Load Robot Programs and configure I/O
Path Teaching
Vision Teaching (if required)
Debug Support with Team
Installation Start-Up support
Production Support
Education and Experiences
Skills/Experience Required:
0-3 years of working with or studying robotics
Able to read Electrical and Pneumatic Prints.
Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Experience with Vision Systems is helpful.
Ability to do basic/intermediate programming in other programming languages (i.e. Visual Basic, C or C++ language).
Troubleshooting experience with PLC programs is helpful
Willing to travel (sometimes this can be up to 75%)
Education:
Associates or Bachelor of Science in related field (BSEE, BSEET, BS Industrial Automation, Computer Science, Mathematics, Mechatronics, etc.). Robotic certifications will also be considered.
