We are looking for a new team member to join our Human Resources Department as a Staffing Manager.
The Staffing Manager is responsible for managing and leading the entire employee talent acquisition process; developing and managing sources for recruiting and assisting managers in enhancing their recruitment skills. The Staffing Manager will be managing the new hire onboarding process and training program; providing support to the HR Department as needed.

Main Tasks/Responsibilities
- Develop and ensure implementation of high-quality global recruitment, interviewing, selection, and strategic onboarding processes. Build the skills and commitment of hiring managers to follow best practices in all stages of the talent acquisition life cycle.
- Drives an efficient, consistent hiring process from start to finish, across multiple sites, including driving best practices in hiring process and hiring decisions, interview tools and techniques.
- Assist leadership in managing metrics for accurate measuring effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of recruiting processes and outcomes.
- Provide daily/weekly reports to hiring managers on a timely basis regarding status relating to all positions; including outreach and response for each position as needed.
- Make recommendations for improvement in recruitment marketing/advertising initiatives.
- Evaluates solutions to source candidates from a variety of sources and technologies, including staffing agencies, job fairs, and social media sources.
- Work with local technical schools, high schools, colleges, and universities to build a rapport with these institutions for hiring new employees and interns.
- Work with local groups and programs, (i.e. SHRM, Chamber of Commerce, etc.) to create connections within the community.
- Conduct new hire onboarding and training.
- Manage internal and external job postings, including recruit for loot program.
- Input and manage training database.
- Provide support to all employees in the areas of benefits, STD, FMLA.
- Manage Fives social responsibility and volunteering initiatives.
- Assist HR & Employee Relations Manager with various projects.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and represent Fives Landis Corp. and the HR Department as an industry leader to customers, suppliers, professional colleagues and employees.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Travel as required.
- Has the ability to work overtime and/or work on “off-shifts” as required by business needs.
Education and Experiences
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from four-year accredited college in Human Resources, Employee Relations or related field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years in all aspects of talent search including search strategy, innovative candidate sourcing programs, pre-screening, interviewing and offer negotiations.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in a union environment a plus.
- Experience working across multiple sites.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and to contribute to a team.
- Intermediate in all Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to observe confidentiality.
