The Marketing and Communications Coordinator II, will coordinate, execute, monitor, and measure the company's marketing and communications efforts under the direction of the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. They will be responsible for maximizing the visibility of the company. S/he will meet with clients, and managers, on a regular basis to discuss the image or concept they wish to exemplify and oversee the creation of communication materials across various platforms.

 

Duties & Responsibilities: All duties and responsibilities are essential functions of the position. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

  • Markets the organization's products, brands and/or services.
  • Designs, develops and implements marketing and communication programs to advertise the organization's products/brands/services using media (e.g., print, broadcast, digital), events and sales promotions.
  • Develops and evaluates pricing strategies and structures.
  • Designs and maintains websites to promote and sell the organization's products through the Internet.
  • Coordinates the development of advertising/marketing communications materials by creative design and creative writing services to effectively represent the products, services, brands and/or the organization to customers and prospects.
  • Applies various communication strategies to create an impression, raise awareness, and encourage a preference and response by the target audience for the organization and its products, services and brands.
  • Develops and coordinates multimedia packages (e.g., letters, brochures, video, point-of-purchase displays).
  • Creates and Uses existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems.
  • Improving the North American brand and marketing presence
  • Creating and driving customer acquisition and retention strategies - implementing Voice of the Customer best practices
  • Driving Fives and North American brand awareness and increase market share through an integrated sales and marketing approach
  • Understanding the market landscape, taking advantage of opportunities and new possibilities with high commercial value
  • Developing strong relationships with the senior leadership team, key internal stakeholders and relevant external third parties
  • Monitoring marketing spend and resulting changes in sales
  • Prepares exhibition displays, tours territories, make speeches at sales meetings or trade shows, and calls on individual customers to advise on ways and means for increasing sales
  • Responsible for taking the lead in coordinating and supporting internal and external marketing communication materials: Brochures, Bulletins, Handbook Supplements, Application Reports, Websites, Social Media, etc.

Education and Experiences

  • Has conceptual knowledge of marketing and communication fundamental theories, principles and practices.
  • The individual should be an excellent writer and familiarity with copy writing.
  • Experience in social media and graphic design.
  • The ideal candidate will be a team player who is energetic, organized, creative, and self-motivated.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in marketing or communications Graphic design skills and experience with
  • Adobe Creative Suite required Some knowledge of HTML, PHP and Java Script preferred.
  • 2 to 4 years experience in the marketing field, with manufacturing company experience preferred.
  • Strong skills in data analysis, with exceptional attention to detail required.
  • Must have strong knowledge of marketing concepts in B2B markets, investment waves, marketing plans, and competitor’s analysis.
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management Software (CRM) including Sales Force.
  • Experience with Pardot and or other email marketing and automation tools.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or communications.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% with potential additional travel.
