In this role as Maintenance Person, you will be required to assist in the planning, and complete installation of hydraulic systems in new building construction and building renovation projects.  This is to include bending and installation of piping and installation of various valves, pumps, and gauges.

The Maintenance Person should be capable of meeting the following requirements with an initial level of supervision that will be expected to diminish as experience is gained.

• Have a thorough understanding of hydraulic principles and operation of hydraulic test equipment.  Must be able to diagnose problems, plan corrective action, and complete repair requirements to restore machines and equipment to full operating condition.
• Must be able to contribute to planning and repair stages of machine & equipment installation and rebuild projects.  Be familiar with the operation of various types of material handling equipment such as; lift trucks, hoists, cranes etc.
• Familiar with the operation of various types of material handling equipment such as; lift trucks and turning machines.  Have adequate size toolbox with an acceptable selection of quality hand tools to meet all responsibilities.     
• Must be capable of developing ability to read and comprehend machine and equipment maintenance manuals, related parts diagrams, prints and layouts.
• Supports and participates in the ISO Certification and Quality Improvement Processes.
• Participate in Fives Safety Culture.
• Other duties may be assigned.

REQUIRED SAFETY EQUIPMENT / PPE:

• Safety glasses

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Technical Certification preferred.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a variety of capacities: electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and PLC.
• Problem solving skills to help find creative solutions.
• Ability to troubleshoot custom equipment and engage in preventative maintenance measures.
• Electrical and Hydraulic experience preferred.
  Participation in formal process improvement, safety teams, etc.
• Driven individual who is a self-starter, has a desire to work, is team oriented, organized and has outstanding follow though skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.
