Fives is looking for a detail oriented and highly motivated person who is excited to start their career in Human Resources! The Human Resource Coordinator will aid and facilitate the human resource processes at all business locations. This role administers support to one or more human resources functions, including recruiting, training, and employee records.

 

Duties and Responsibilities: All duties and responsibilities are essential functions of the position. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

  • Organizes the new hire and onboarding processes, including review of company policies, collection and processing of new hire paperwork, and completion of orientation.
  • Schedules and monitors various training programs.
  • Oversees employee evaluations, including meeting coordination, performance review finalization, and follow-up with supervisors.
  • Data entry and sourcing reports.
  • Meeting coordination and set up.
  • May coordinate recruitment events such as job fairs and open houses.
  • Recruit for open positions, including intern, co-op, and apprentice positions.
  • Assist in creating and sending company communications.
  • Publishes job ads to internal and external job boards.
  • Schedules interviews with hiring team and candidates.
  • Review internal and external resumes.
  • Phone screen potential applicants regarding their skills, experience and education.
  • Coordinates background screening, license verification, reference checks of candidates and drug screens.
  • May help with the completion of new hire paperwork and filing into correct personnel files.
  • Assists, coordinates and plans engagement events.
  • Assist in the completion of department action plans and goals.
  • Comply with all state and federal regulations.

Education and Experiences

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Canva or other graphic design software experience.
  • Office 365 Suite and Teams proficiency.
  • Familiarity with online learning software a plus.
  • 1 year of experience in HR or similar field preferred.
  • High School/GED.
  • Preferred Education bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
