We are looking for a new team member to join our Finance team as an Accountant I.

The Accountant I will support the company’s accounting process in a professional and knowledgeable manner.   This is an entry level position reporting directly to the Accounting Manager.

Main Tasks/Responsibilities:

• Assist with intercompany transactions and reconciliations – with intentions to lead.
• Setup, enter, and organize tax files including sales tax, franchise tax, and property tax.
• Assist in capital justification process.
• Support A/P and outgoing payment process.
• Coordinate cash collection process.
• Monthly account reconciliations.
• Prepare Wells Fargo weekly and monthly reporting.
• Prepare monthly reports.
• Prepare government reports as needed.
• Prepare routine and/or special journal entries as required.
• Research and resolve vendor issues.
• Assist in completing corporate plans (cost center budgeting).
• Assist in the annual audit process.
• Assist with annual bank audit.
• Special projects as assigned (including audits, corporate reporting, etc.).
• Other duties as required to fulfill the responsibilities above.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Accounting.
• 0-2 years’ experience and exposure to all facets of general accounting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
