Job Description for “Process & Commissioning Expert Minerals / Cement Business”

 

Fives Combustion System India. is actively seeking a Asst / Dy. Manager – Process & Commissioning (Cement) to join its teams in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

Fives Combustion System (FCS), Baroda is part of Fives Pillard (Fives Group) engaged in Designing, Engineering, Manufacturing and commissioning of various types of Burner equipment and combustion Systems, involving almost all types of fuels.

 

FCS equipment provide optimum performance meeting all the needs in the field of Co- generation and Combined Cycle Plants, Incineration, Pyro-processing, Utility and Industrial Boilers, refinery and Petrochemicals Industries, Fertiliser and Agrochemical Industries as well as other Process Industries.

 

FCS have also established a Test Facility at their works at Padra - Jambusar Highway, Dabhasa, Baroda, Gujarat.

We are currently seeking an Asst / Dy. Manager – Process & Commissioning (Cement), who has the same desire to prove that

industry can do it!      

 

At Fives we all have a part to play in achieving our common purpose. Your role will be to:

 

Well-connected in the Cement Industry with good knowledge in Pyro / Rotary Kiln process & in combustion products for the Cement markets and willing to travel both in India & abroad. In addition to above, the following skills are mandatory for the candidates.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Review the burner data sheet and check the supplied equipment as per sold offer.
  • Perform the pre-commissioning of kiln burner as per FCS documents.
  • Good Knowledge’s in Commissioning of Kiln burners.
  • Candidates must have potential to optimize the kiln burners for desired Performance guarantee parameters.
  • Handling of customer interest of organizations and good convincing skills.
  • Process trouble shooting on Kiln burners. Good analytical skills in burner as well as Pyro process.
  • Basic knowledge in Rawmix and Fuelmix design.
  • Knowledge of Clinker QC parameters and factors influences for improving the quality of clinker.
  • Basic knowledge on industrial refractories/castable.
  • Intense travel to India/Overseas (International).
  • Deep knowledge and perform Pyro Heat & Mass balances.
  • Prepare the site MOM after successful commissiong of kiln burner, completion of PG, and MOM must be interest to the organisation.
  • Monthly approx 10 days travelling to PAN india.
  • Good skills in preparations of site visit report, etc.

 

 

Skill, Experience & Preferences:

 

  • B.Tech / BE – Chemical / Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum of 6-12 years’ experience in Process Expertise and commissioning of Cement / minerals Equipments.  
  • Results oriented individual with robust technical abilities and ready to travel pan India.
  • Ability to work well with others and lead by example
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications and AutoCAD
  • Good communication skills with clients and cross functional team members.
