JOB CONTENT
We are currently seeking a candidate who has the desire to prove that industry can do it!
The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for shipping documentation including bills of lading and shipping labels. Routes outgoing shipments through various freight carrier websites and schedules transportation of shipments.
At Fives we all have a part to play in achieving a common purpose. Your role will be to:
- Communicates with sales, accounting, and shipping departments to determine daily shipping needs.
- Prepares accurate freight quotes for sales department.
- Coordinates pick up of all freight leaving facility; sets up logistic shipments using customer websites.
- Processes shipments in SAP including changes to shipping instructions and reasons for late deliveries.
- Locates the freight charges from carrier websites and calculates rates using Focus Logistics
- Communicates the progress of claims, shipping delays, and transport issues with necessary departments.
- Data entry in SAP; enter work orders.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Prior Shipping Coordinator experience.
• Manufacturing environment experience a plus.Computer literacy skills.
• SAP knowledge a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated and can work independently and/or within a team setting.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Spanish speaking a plus.

SCHEDULE & PAY:
- Ability to commute: 481 Gardner Street, South Beloit, IL 61080
- Schedule: 8 hour shifts, Monday-Friday
- 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
