Fives Services Gulf is actively seeking a Technical Coordinator to join its teams in Bahrain.

With a team of 150 people based in Bahrain, Dubai and Saudi Arabia, Fives Services Gulf provides local customer service, project execution support and local parts sourcing, in addition to carrying out refit and modernization projects, audits and technical assistance on customer sites. A team is also dedicated to the maintenance of equipment in operation at our customers' plants.

 We are currently seeking a Technical Coordinator, who has the same desire to prove that industry can do it!  

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for coordinating the planning, scheduling and execution of preventative and scheduled maintenance of all equipment to ensure maintenance activities are delivered to meet operational and customer requirements, whilst ensuring alignment with industry standards
  • Lead the planning, scheduling and execution of daily maintenance operations for assigned projects/customers to ensure that work/tasks are performed accurately and efficiently in conformance with established methods, instructions and quality standards, and results are reported in a timely manner as per Company policies and procedures and/or customer reporting requirements
  • Review and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of current maintenance operational processes and procedures and recommend enhancements where necessary to ensure efficiency is embedded within operations to support achievement of operational objectives
  • Manage spare parts stock inventory ensuring the suitability and availability of equipment, consumables, stock levels, raw materials, resources, change of suppliers etc and ensure stock replenishment is coordinated and delivered in a timely manner to support delivery of maintenance operations
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining good working relationships with customers and acting as a focal point of contact for all maintenance and planning related matters including but not limited to responding to customer/technical enquiries, addressing and processing customer requests, responding to information requests, coordinating delivery of reporting requirements 
  • Lead the preparation and delivery of day-to-day customer reporting requirements as per contractual terms and conditions
  • Responsible for maintaining all equipment records, licenses, and certifications and ensuring all equipment related documentation is up to date, and coordinate the issuance/renewal of equipment records/licenses/certifications as per Company policies and procedures and industry requirements
  • Support the design and delivery of training requirements regarding maintenance practices and procedures to employees and customers to ensure the end user has the necessary technical knowledge and awareness to deliver operational and technical maintenance requirements
  • Support the preparation and upkeep of manuals and documents and ensure they are regularly updated and accordingly communicated internally / externally to ensure the end user has the necessary technical knowledge and awareness to execute maintenance works
  • Support the Mechanical Superintendent in ensuring all on-site personnel comply with Fives and/or customer safety policies, procedures, safety program requirements and document violations as per established procedures and recommend/implement corrective actions as required
  • Review and resolve performance, process, quality and technical related issues and implement preventative actions as and when required, and address concerns and non-conformance issues and provide remedial solutions
  • Support the Mechanical Superintendent in delivering day to day operational requirements and take on supervisory responsibilities during the Superintendent’s absence
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant (internal and external) regulations including HSEQ requirements using Company policies and procedures as appropriate

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical/Automation Engineering or a relevant field
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of PTM (Pot Tending Machines) would be an advantage.
