We are currently seeking a Smart Operations Solutions Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and support digital solutions for maintenance and operational excellence by connecting maintenance operations systems, Smart Crane technologies, SAP Business One, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Power Platform, enterprise applications, and operational technologies, enabling real-time visibility, process automation, asset reliability, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making across the organization and its customers.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Smart Operations Solutions Engineer is responsible for developing, integrating, and supporting digital solutions that connect maintenance operations, Smart Crane technologies, SAP Business One (ERP), Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Microsoft Power Platform. The role focuses on improving operational visibility, process automation, asset performance, and data-driven decision-making through the effective use of enterprise and industrial technologies.

Acting as a bridge between Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT), the position works closely with customers, operations teams, and business stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions, support digital transformation initiatives, and enhance operational efficiency through data, analytics, and automation.

  • Smart Operations & Maintenance Systems
  • Support, manage, and optimize Smart Crane Systems, maintenance operations systems, Industrial IoT (IIoT) devices, and OT environments.
  • Integrate operational and maintenance data with enterprise applications and analytics platforms.
  • Support real-time monitoring, process automation, predictive maintenance, and asset performance initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and identify opportunities for operational improvement and technology optimization.
  • Enterprise Applications, Data & Integration
  • Support and enhance SAP Business One processes across operations, inventory, maintenance, procurement, and related functions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain integrations between SAP Business One, Smart Operations platforms, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SQL Server, and third-party systems.
  • Manage Microsoft Fabric environments, including OneLake, Lakehouse architecture, data pipelines, data warehousing, and governance.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, KPI reporting, analytics solutions, and operational insights.
  • Ensure data quality, security, reliability, and governance across enterprise platforms.
  • Application Development & Automation
  • Design, develop, and support web applications, Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, APIs, and digital solutions.
  • Implement scalable and secure solutions that automate business processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Support application lifecycle management, modernization initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Customer Support & Technical Consulting
  • Provide customer support, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, system upgrades, and user assistance both remotely and on-site.
  • Conduct customer meetings, workshops, solution demonstrations, and technical presentations.
  • Gather and document business and technical requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
  • Act as a primary technical point of contact and ensure timely issue resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Governance & Continuous Improvement
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, OT security, data governance, and business continuity requirements.
  • Maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
  • Support digital transformation, process improvement, and automation initiatives across the organization.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in I.T or Computer Science or a relevant field
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience

 

PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE, CERTIFICATION OR MEMBERSHIPs

  • Knowledge & experience of Microsoft SQL Server / Microsoft Azzure is required
  • Knowledge & experience of Cloud Based Applications and Databases is required
  • Knowledge & experience of software development and programming tools is advantageous
  • Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate

 

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Advanced user of MS Office
  • Occasional regional/international travel may be required
