Compensation:
- Support the preparation and response to RFQs/quotations, review and submit bill of materials requirements and specifications, participate in subcontractor selection against agreed criteria, and support the bidding process as per business/production requirements
- Responsible for the preparation of the bill of materials including but not limited to raw materials, equipment, machinery, manpower requirements etc from reviewing drawings, designs and specifications to ensure all material requirements are itemized and categorized for production purposes
- Responsible for ensuring the bill of materials is submitted as per Company policies and procedures to initiate purchase requests and liaise with Procurement as required to ensure on time delivery as per specifications to fulfil project/production requirements
- Responsible for the end to end preparation of cost estimates for all production/project requirements ensuring production specifications have been considered and cost estimates have been prepared in line with Company polices and procedures
- Conduct analysis of production/project expenditure and costs and identify variances between forecasted estimates versus actual expenditure, identify gaps / shortfalls and provide solutions/recommendations for corrective and preventative actions to safeguard project cost monitoring processes
- Responsible for liaising with local vendors / suppliers to strengthen Fives’ procurement base to support cost monitoring/cost control measures and ensure customer requirements are successfully delivered
- Responsible for ensuring all estimates, records and documentation are kept fully up to date in the ERP / relevant databases on an "As-built" basis with all additions/modifications recorded as per Company policies and procedures and maintain a robust document control system for ease of reference and retrieval
- Assist internal and external auditors as needed to ensure audits are completed as per the required timeframes and relevant standards and procedures
- Support the preparation and analysis of all Engineering/Estimation reporting requirements including but not limited to the monthly KPI report to support continuous monitoring and enhancement of operational processes
- Ensure compliance with all relevant (internal and external) regulations including HSEQ requirements using Company policies and procedures as appropriate
- Minimum Experience of 3 to 5 years.
