Fives Services Gulf is the Fives service Centre for the Middle East, with a team of 160 people based in Bahrain, UAE and Saudi Arabia, Fives Services Gulf provides local customer service, project execution support and local parts sourcing, in addition to carrying out refit and modernization projects, audits and technical assistance on customer sites. A team is also dedicated to the maintenance of equipment in operation at our customers' plants.

We are currently seeking an Aluminium Services Sales Manager, to lead and manage FSG commercial execution for Aluminium services, modernization projects, and spare parts in the Gulf, ensuring delivery of FSG SOI and alignment with Aluminium Division sales strategy and customer priorities.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Commercial Strategy & Operating Framework
- Define and implement the operating framework, processes, and procedures for FSG commercial execution (services, modernization projects, estimation, and spare parts), in compliance with Group standards and legal and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the development and execution of FSG commercial plans for Services, Repairables, Modernization Projects, Estimation, and Spare Parts, in alignment with Aluminium Division sales strategy and regional objectives.
- Oversee the implementation of regional sales policies, processes, systems, and procedures, and set targets that ensure adequate profitability and sustainable revenue generation.
- Contribute to regional marketing and business development plans, ensuring FSG commercial activities support Aluminium Division strategy and agreed growth priorities.
- Customer & Market Engagement
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers in the region to strengthen Fives’ sales base, including scheduling and attending regular client meetings.
- Identify and develop new FSG business opportunities within the aluminium field and support major customer accounts through services, modernization projects, and spare parts engagement.
- Maintain and update a client and market database to enable effective market analysis and provide recommendations, analysis, and feedback to Senior Management.
- Evaluate customer research, market conditions, and competitor data, and adapt sales approaches as required.
- Build strong relationships with local suppliers and develop and execute market penetration strategies.
- Sales Execution, Bidding & Commercial Governance
- Oversee the planning, prioritisation, and execution of FSG Commercial team activities, ensuring delivery in line with agreed priorities, quality standards, and customer commitments.
- Accountable for coordinating bid/no‑bid decisions and commercial submissions; technical content and compliance provided by Aluminium Back Office in line with product and technology governance.
- Lead commercial negotiations for large or complex contracts within delegated authority, ensuring alignment with Aluminium Division and Group approval thresholds.
- Develop and implement pricing strategies for services, modernization projects, and spare parts in line with Group pricing frameworks and Aluminium Division governance.
- Spare Parts Business Management
- Responsible for the Spare Parts business within the assigned scope, including defining and executing the spare parts strategy in alignment with Group commercial objectives.
- Lead spare parts sales activities to drive sustainable growth, customer satisfaction, and effective coordination with internal stakeholders across sales, operations, and supply chain.
- Own spare parts performance management, including definition and monitoring of KPIs (sales, margin, delivery performance, responsiveness) and continuous improvement actions, with Aluminium Back Office kept informed on product evolution and portfolio decisions.
- Marketing & Brand Development
- Lead FSG‑level marketing and communication initiatives, ensuring alignment with Aluminium Division messaging, product positioning, and regional objectives.
- Provide input to plans related to customer events, advertising, marketing, and PR activities aimed at increasing the Company’s brand exposure in the region.
- Financial Accountability
- Full budget accountability for Sales and Spare Parts functions, including planning, monitoring, and contribution to the overall financial forecast (P&L).
- People Management & Organisation
- Set and agree individual goals for all direct reports and evaluate performance, providing regular feedback and coaching in line with Fives people management practices.
- Participate in candidate selection and ensure recruitment activities within the area of responsibility comply with Fives Services Gulf policies and procedures.
- Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external regulations, including QHSE requirements, applying Company policies and procedures as appropriate.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant field
- Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience
- Experience in an aluminium commercial work environment would be preferred
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficient user of MS Office, Salesforce
- Excellent knowledge of the Aluminium Smelting operations and Gulf Aluminium Customer base
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and highly visible environment, exercising balanced judgment across diverse stakeholder perspectives while guiding the team to consistently deliver agreed objectives
- Arabic/French speaker is advantageous
- Regular regional will be required (1/month every client)
- Occasional International travel will be required
