Fives Landis Corp is actively seeking a Surface Grinder Operator to join its team in Concord Twp., Ohio.

 

Hours: 1st Shift M-F 7-3:30p, some OT as required

Pay: $18-21, depending on experience

We are currently seeking a Surface Grinder, who has the same desire to prove that

industry can do it!

 

At Fives we all have a part to play in achieving our common purpose. Your role will be to:

 

 

  • Setup & operate grinding machinery :Calibrate grinding wheels, adjust settings while operating the machine to produce smooth, flat, and highly accurate surfaces on steel, carbide and similar metals.
  • Apply a keen eye for precision: Utilize blueprints to ensure pieces follow guidelines along with inspect parts using various measuring tools to ensure top-notch accuracy.
  • Be Part of a Quality-Driven Team : Maintain high standards for safety, precision, and performance.

 

 

At Fives Landis Corp, and under the direction of the Production Supervisor, you will join the Cutting Tools team.

We are seeking someone with a minimum of:

  • High School Diploma
  • 1 year of manufacturing experience, previous machinist/tooling experience preferred
  • Strong shop math capabilities to calculate dimensions & tolerance.
  • Proficiency in reading Geometric Dimensioning and tolerancing.
