POSITION OVERVIEW: LASER OPERATOR

AS THE LASER OPERATOR, YOU WILL:

  • Machine Operator: Set up, program, and operate laser marking equipment
  • Product Inspection: Perform product inspection, ensuring the product meets customer specifications
  • Receiving:  Review the packing list with purchase orders and verify incoming goods

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Technical Proficiency with Laser Equipment: Ability to set up, program, and operate laser marking systems.

  • Attention to Detail and Quality Control: Ensure product quality meets customer specifications while documenting production totals and identifying errors.

  • Organization and Inventory Management: Verify incoming shipments and distribute goods.

  • Adaptability and Cross-functional Support: Assist with additional manufacturing tasks, such as buffing, polishing, deburring, and preparing products for shipment.

  • Safety and Cleanliness Standards: Commitment to safety and production requirements while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous manufacturing or shipping/receiving experience is a plus
  • Strong Mathematical and Mechanical Aptitude
  • Basic Laser Operation: Foundational skills in setting up and operating laser equipment
  • Exceptional Organizational and Time Management Skills
  • Detail-Oriented Mindset
  • Blueprint and Schematic Interpretation
  • Manual Dexterity: Skilled in handling tools and equipment with precision and control to maintain production quality.
  • Physical Endurance: Capability to perform prolonged periods of sitting or standing as required by the job
