Job Content

We are seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for handling all incoming and outgoing materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring safe and efficient warehouse operations.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials; enter data into SAP

  • Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes to unload, move, and store materials

  • Prepare and fulfill orders; load trucks and process shipping paperwork

  • Perform weekly cycle counts and assist with annual inventory

  • Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and equipment

  • Support shipping functions when needed

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience with forklifts and overhead gantry cranes (certification preferred)

  • Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring tools (micrometers, calipers)

  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical warehouse tasks

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills

  • Willingness to learn and grow within the role

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical/shop class experience a plus

  • 1+ year of experience in a shop, warehouse, or manufacturing environment

  • Ability to operate forklifts (certification preferred)

  • Working knowledge of measurement tools (calipers, micrometers)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Solid math skills and general mechanical aptitude

  • Basic computer proficiency; familiarity with Microsoft Office preferred

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
