We are currently seeking a full time Field Service Engineer. 

At Fives we all have a part to play in achieving our common purpose. Your role will be to:

  • Plan, supervise, and execute installation, integration, and commissioning of equipment at customer sites

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and control system issues in the field

  • Perform repair, preventive maintenance, upgrades, and replacements on complex industrial equipment

  • Analyze customer equipment performance to ensure safe, reliable, and optimal operation

  • Identify root causes of equipment failures and recommend corrective actions or system improvements

  • Interpret and work from mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics, blueprints, and P&IDs

  • Ensure all installation and service activities comply with safety standards and PPE requirements

  • Provide technical support and training to customers and internal teams on equipment operation and maintenance

  • Maintain accurate service documentation, including service reports, call logs, weekly reports, and visit schedules

  • Manage service activities within defined technical scope, timelines, and budgets

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships with a focus on customer satisfaction and service quality

  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams on equipment design, testing, or field improvements as needed

  • Travel (domesticly and internationally) to customer and company facilities to support field service needs

 

At Fives BRONX and under the direction of the Manager of Aftermarket, you will join the Capital and Aftermarket teams.

 

We are seeking someone who has a technical degree in engineering, with 5+ years of hands on experience.

Requirements

  • Technical Degree, Engineering Degree or Equivalent Work Experience;
  • Solid mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic experience in repairing and maintaining equipment;
  • Experience in controls, VFD’s, MCC’s, PLC’s and HMI’s;
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics and P&IDs;
  • Proficiency in PC utilizing MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
