Introduction

Fives Landis Corp (CITCO Tools) is actively seeking a 1st and 2nd shift Braze Tech to join its teams in Concord Twp., Ohio.  Conveniently located off Auburn Rd. and the intersection of Route 44 / Interstate 90.

POSITION

In this role, the Braze Tech will braze synthetic diamond material on carbide and steel cutting tool bodies using induction brazing technology. After grinding, each piece will be inspected visually and by using an optical comparator to ensure the quality of the tool meets the customer's print.

YOUR ROLE:

  • Braze synthetic diamond to carbide and steel tool bodies

  • Set and glue natural diamond to carbide workpiece

  • Prepare components using sand blasting and flux to braze 

  • Inspect parts 

  • Verify the finished part to print the dimensions

  • Maintain safety, quality, and production requirements

EXPERIENCE

  • On-the-job training provided

  • Familiar with working in a production shop setting

  • Mathematically and mechanically inclined

  • Ability to work with small and tight tolerance parts

  • Manual dexterity is required for operating tools and equipment

  • Must be physically able to operate required equipment

  • Prolonged periods of standing required

  • Self-motivated

Schedule & Compensation:

  • Ability to commute: 7605 Discovery Lane, Concord Twp. , Ohio 44077

  • Schedule: 8-10 hour shifts

  • 1st shift: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

  • 2nd shift: 3:30 pm – 12:00 am

  • Some overtime available

  • Pay scale based on experience
