Senior Learning & Development Specialist
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist is responsible for the hands-on design, administration, and continuous improvement of learning programs that support employee capability development. This role administers the 360Learning platform, supports learning communities, develops onboarding program templates, and contributes to job competency and career development resources.
The Senior L&D Specialist partners closely with managers, HR partners, and subject matter experts to translate development needs into practical, scalable learning solutions aligned with performance expectations and career growth.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Learning Ecosystem & 360Learning Administration
- Administer and maintain learning communities within the 360Learning platform, including course organization, content updates, permissions, and learner support.
- Partner with leaders and subject matter experts to gather training needs and support the creation, editing, and publishing of learning content.
- Develop and maintain job aids, platform guides, and learner resources to support consistent platform adoption.
- Monitor learner engagement and completion data and provide insights to improve learning effectiveness.
Onboarding (Departmental)
- Assist in the design and maintenance of departmental onboarding programs and templates.
- Collaborate with managers to tailor onboarding content to specific roles while ensuring alignment with company standards.
- Incorporate feedback and performance data to continuously improve onboarding materials.
Job Descriptions & Role Clarity
- Support managers and HR partners in updating and maintaining job descriptions to reflect current responsibilities and required competencies.
- Ensure alignment between job descriptions, onboarding content, and learning resources.
Employee Evaluation & Performance Enablement
- Maintain employee evaluation templates and supporting documentation.
- Assist with rollout communications, guidance, and resource development related to performance evaluation processes.
- Align learning resources to support development goals identified through performance evaluations.
Competency Framework & Career Pathing
- Support the development and upkeep of job competency guides by role or job family.
- Coordinate competency self-assessments and manager feedback cycles.
- Maintain clear, accessible career pathing materials to support employee development.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience administering a Learning Management System (360Learning or comparable platform).
- Experience designing, maintaining, or supporting onboarding programs and learning resources across multiple roles or departments.
- Working knowledge of competency frameworks, performance tools, or career development models.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with managers, HR partners, and subject matter experts.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, including Teams, SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to interpret basic learning and engagement data to inform continuous improvement.
