Sales Operations Manager
POSITION SUMMARY:
The purpose of the Sales Operations Manager is to enable the Sales team to focus on revenue generation through improved processes, standardization, analytics and governance. This role would maintain consistency, visibility, and accountability across sales activities, tools, and cross‑functional handoffs, while also bridging gaps and fostering relationships between Sales, Marketing, Bid Development, Execution, SpA and other critical stakeholders within Fives.
PROPOSED JOB DUTIES:
- Sales Project Handover Management
- Track and manage project handover meetings, ensuring:
- All action items are documented, assigned, and closed.
- Lessons learned and improvement ideas are captured and routed to COE or applicable stakeholders.
- Create and maintain standardized requirements for what Sales must provide during project handoff to downstream teams.
- Track and manage project handover meetings, ensuring:
- Salesforce Coordination & Oversight
- Own Salesforce operational effectiveness, including:
- Creation and maintenance of dashboards and reports to measure activity, performance, and goal attainment.
- Identification and implementation of opportunities for improvement and tool automation.
- Lead EOM and weekly Monday meeting showcasing sales activities.
- Own Salesforce operational effectiveness, including:
- Reporting & Analytics
- Facilitate weekly Sales reports for Executive Stakeholders.
- Initial data cleanup and validation.
- Consolidation and prep for final submittal.
- Perform ad-hoc and recurring sales analytics as needed to support leadership decision-making.
- Facilitate weekly Sales reports for Executive Stakeholders.
- Process and procedure assistance & liaison
- Partner with COE department to design and implement improved processes.
- Cross-Functional Department Collaboration
- Act as the bridge between Sales and Bid Development, resolving gaps, aligning expectations and improving coordination.
- Partner closely with Marketing to ensure sales and marketing goals, campaigns and messaging are aligned.
- Maintain an active working relationship with SpA, supporting process alignment and sharing best practices
- Plan, coordinate and facilitate Sales Summits
- Coordinate logistics and stakeholder participation
- Creation of meeting agendas and supporting materials
- Track post-Summit action items and ensure completion to drive accountability
- Training of New Hires
- Onboard new hires on Sales process and procedures, Salesforce and associated tools
- Act as main POC during initial onboarding phase for new hire to address any open questions or concerns
