POSITION SUMMARY:

The Quality Intern will support all functions within the Quality Systems. The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both autonomously and collaboratively and must have a desire to learn new tools, processes, and concepts.

The Quality Intern is a part of the Supply Chain Team for Fives Intralogistics Corp. and reports to the Director, Quality Systems.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support all functions within the Quality Systems Department
  • Support maintenance of the Quality Management System
  • Asist with internal audit results and trends
  • Support ISO Certification process
  • Support the CAPA system

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Pursuing a degree is Quality or Engineering preferred
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and with others
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints for measurement and investigation purposes (GD&T knowledge is a plus)
  • Exposure to MRP and ERP system (SAP preferred)
  • Proven ability in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements and relevant industry standard practices is desirable
  • Effectively manages time and resources

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The Quality Intern’s work environment will be a mix of office and assembly shop floor.

Fives Intralogistics is a manufacturer of automated sorting equipment. Employees of the company work in a light industrial environment and must follow established safety policies. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

 

TRAVEL:

This position requires little to no business travel by airplane, car, and/or train and public transportation. The candidate must be capable of completing airplane trips of 10 or more hours. Overnight travel is estimated at less than 5% of the time.
