Introduction

Fives Intralogistics Corp seeks a Proposal & Contracts Manager to lead RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses, manage the proposal process, and develop strategies to secure business opportunities. This role ensures high-quality, accurate proposals while fostering strong customer relationships. Collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and cross-functional teams, the Manager provides updates, manages submittals, and ensures compliance with company standards.

 

Essential Duties

  1. Proposal Leadership:
    • Manage proposal development, ensure quality, and adhere to deadlines.
    • Facilitate collaboration, provide updates, and design creative layouts.
  2. Proposal Development:
    • Create, edit, and review proposals aligned with customer needs and company standards.
    • Develop scope of work and ensure error-free submissions.
  3. Bid Management:
    • Process RFPs/RFIs, facilitate bid/no-bid decisions, and lead debrief sessions.
  4. Content Management:
    • Maintain proposal templates and create compelling content tailored to client needs.
  5. Relationship Building:
    • Serve as the primary contact for clients and internal stakeholders.
  6. Process Optimization:
    • Administer proposal software and streamline development processes.
  7. Compliance:
    • Review RFPs and contracts to ensure adherence to requirements and identify exceptions.

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; equivalent experience considered.
    • 3+ years in proposal or project management preferred; industry experience (Material Handling, Construction, Manufacturing) is a plus.
    • Familiarity with Salesforce and SAP is advantageous.
  • Skills & Abilities:
    • Proficient in proposal writing, editing, and managing RFP/RFQ processes.
    • Strong planning, organization, and time management skills.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
    • Effective communicator and collaborator with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Skilled in negotiation, adaptability, and maintaining resilience under pressure.
