Fives Landis Corp is actively seeking Project Manager to join its team in Hagerstown, Maryland.

Fives Landis Corp is the High Precision Machines Division of Fives specializes in the design and supply of various types of machines for numerous markets such as Automotive, Aerospace, Defense, Rail, Shipbuilding, Energy, Space, etc.  

 

The division has approximately 1,800 employees worldwide working in about 20 locations in Asia, Europe, and North America.

We are currently seeking a Project Manager who has the same desire to prove that industry can do it!

 

Salary Range:  $77,000 (rate offered will be commensurate with experience)

 

At Fives we all have a part to play in achieving our common purpose. Your role will be to:

 

  • Ensure that projects are delivered on-time, with scope and within budgets.
  • Coordinate and support internal resources for the execution of the assigned projects..
  • Responsible for resource availability and allocation.
  • Develop a detailed project plan and recommend course corrections to the plan as required..
  • Drive decisions to closure with project team and all stakeholders and build the results into updated plans.. 
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPI's) to measure progress.
  • Manage changes in project scope, scheduled and costs from project ship date.
  • Use appropriate management tools, communication plans and risk management techniques to create rigor in project planning and execution.
  • Manage and coordinate the relationship with clients, third parties, and vendors.
  • Perform risk managment to minimize project risks.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Establish a measurement and reporting framework to review progress with key stakeholders and upper management as needed.
  • Coordinate communications and technical support between FLC and the customer.
  • Management the Machine Revision(MRE) process with Proposal Engineering, as required to add customer options.
  • Understand and practice appropriate safety procedures; participate in and support FLC safety program and campaigns.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and represent Fives Landis Corp.an industry leader to customers, suppliers, professional colleagues and employees. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

We are seeking someone who has a Master’s degree in Engineering Management, or Project Management. Experience with high precision macining a plus Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.  Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and experience with Microsoft Project, SAP is a plus.
