Fives Landis Corp. is actively seeking a Manufacturing Field Service Technician to join its team in Hagerstown, Maryland.

The High Precision Machines Division of Fives specializes in the design and supply of various types of machines for numerous markets such as Automotive, Aerospace, Defense, Rail, Shipbuilding, Energy, Space, etc.

We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Field Service Technician who has the same desire to prove that industry can do it!

 

At Fives we all have a part to play in achieving our common purpose. Your role will be to:

  • Provide service and customer support during field visits of precision cylindrical grinding, centerless grinding and double disc grinding machines.
  • Manage all on site repairs, maintenance, and test tasks.
  • Identify and diagnose errors or technical problems and determine the proper solution to resolve unique situations.
  • Produce timely and detail service reports.
  • Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendation.
  • Build positive relationships with customers.

We are seeking someone who has a minimum of a High School diploma, GED or equivalent, Able to travel 80% of the time.  If you live in Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Maryland or Ohio, and are comfortable dealing with customers, a self-starter and committed to detail, then we are eager to change the world with you!
