Job Title: FECC Engineer
Fives Combustion BU is actively seeking an Engineer of European Combustion Research Center to join its team in Piacenza (PC), Italy.

We are currently looking for an Engineer in our European Research Centre who will be responsible for:
- Perform combustion tests according to safety procedures and the technical specifications document;
- Ensure the reliability of combustion tests by ensuring adequate reliability of combustion instrumentation and measurements;
- Adaptation of the PLC, HMI and supervisory programs based on test campaigns, proposing any necessary improvements;
- Prioritise and optimise combustion tests in accordance with the FECC manager;
- Provide tests and technical reports together with the FECC Manager;
- Assistance in the assembly of various FECC equipment required for the test;
- Provide technical support for the commissioning of new products during the "first industry" phase;
- Supervise the maintenance suppliers and perform FECC maintenance operations in agreement with the Manager;
- Comply with and apply all QHSE policies.
You are the ideal candidate/s if you meet the following requirements:
• Experience in burners/ combustion setting, regulation and/or commissioning (mandatory);
• Engineer with + 3 years of experience or technician with + 10 years of experience with a strong background in thermal/ mechanical/ electrical/ instrumental;
• Basic knowledge of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics and combustion;
• Ability to control and supervise;
• Software : Pack office, PLC/HMI (Siemens, Schneider...);
• CAC/CAD (Solidworks, Autocad...) is a plus;
• Languages required: Italian and English, French is a plus.
