Summary:
Responsible for understanding the scope and specification requirements provided in the customer RFQ. This information is processed to create a working solution provided in the form of a written proposal. This proposal will include the scope, cycle time, sell price, timing and will be reviewed with the Operations Team for verification. 10% travel required.
Main Responsibilities:

Receive request for quote from Proposal & Estimating Manager and review with Account Manager.

Evaluate customer requirements, review specifications, and the concept type of equipment required for the requested application.

Produce proposal documents describing equipment services and terms being offered.

Generate proposal drawings as required.

Contact vendors for quotations on specialized equipment or services for the project.

Interface with Engineers regarding requirements and costs for the project.

Produce cost estimates (define engineering hours, manufacturing hours, and material costs).

Review written proposals, drawings, and pricing with Proposal/Estimating Manager and revise as needed.
Education / Experience:

Minimum high school diploma
-
Preferred Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.E.E.) from four-year College or university

1 - 3 years related experience and/or training.

Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Excellent computer skills (i.e., MS Office, ACAD, Windows, SolidWorks).
