POSITION SUMMARY:

The Mechanical Project Engineer develops the initial engineering/design plan with the project team. The Mechanical Project Engineer manages the project’s engineering from the proposal turnover through installation in the field. They also utilize their career experience and knowledge in a senior role within the engineering department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  1. Fulfilling Customer Specifications for projects
  2. Delivering mechanical engineering within project scope definition
  3. Delivering mechanical engineering within budget
  4. Delivering mechanical engineering within schedule
  5. Delivering mechanical engineering within FCC’s quality expectations
  6. Leading the mechanical engineering team on various projects simultaneously
  7. Effective technical communication with customers
  8. Promoting FCC when communicating with customers

Requirements

Education and/or Experience

  1. Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.M.E.) from four-year College or university
  2. MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,)
  3. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  4. Excellent computer skills (i.e., MS Office, ACAD, Windows).
  5. 3 to 5 years in an engineering leadership position.
