We are looking for a Proposal Engineer with Body in White experience.  

 

Position Summary:

Responsible for conception, describing, and pricing solutions to customer requirements.

 

Main duties:

  1. Receive request for quote and review with Account manager
  2. Evaluate customer requirements, review specifications, and the concept type of equipment required for the requested application
  3. Produce proposal documents describing equipment services and terms
  4. General proposal drawings as needed
  5. Product cost estimates (define engineering, manufacturing hours, and material costs)

 

Education / Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree (Engineering preferred)
  • 5 years related experience in proposal and /or estimating
  • 5 years related experience in BiW equipment
  • OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Experience in Automation, powertrain, industrial washers, assembly/ manufacturing environment, and conveyance industry would be beneficial.
