Aftermarket Commissioning Technician

Commissioning / Service Technician that supports the organization and Aftermarket personnel with technical solution regarding projects and products in the field assignments. Must be willing to travel up to 80% of time.

Job Summary Main Tasks / Responsibilities |
- Work in the shop on the equipment scheduled for installation, including learning system requirements, performing runoffs, and meeting customers during pre-shipment acceptance activities.
- Complete equipment pre‑shipment checklists to ensure quality standards are met and that all performance risk mitigation steps have been thoroughly evaluated.
- Ensure all technical issues are resolved prior to shipment, and support the equipment validation process in the field, including testing and demonstrating the technical capabilities of the product after installation and start‑up at the customer facility.
- Support the creation and review of 8D reports, ensuring accurate root cause identification and implementation of permanent corrective actions.
- Manage and track open corrective action items, confirming they address the correct equipment deficiencies and validating the accuracy of associated resources, labor hours, and completion dates.
- Assist in the preparation of warranty documentation, including the development and communication of corrective action plans.
- Ability to work in manufacturing as a “Machine Builder” between field service assignments when necessary (refer to Machine Builder position description for qualifications).

Education, Training and Experience |
Qualifications
- Machine builder or Service Technician with 7+ years of experience is preferred.
- Experience in industrial washers is preferred (5 years minimum)
Education and/or Experience
- GED or High School Diploma
Language Skills
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and explain machine basic operations.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customer.
