Fives North American Combustion, Inc. is hiring a refractory technician to join our team in Cleveland, OH.

At Fives, we all have a part to play in achieving our common mission. Your role will be:
- Set-up, break down and clean molds, which are used during the pouring process
- Compare mold set-ups to drawings to ensure proper dimensional accuracy
- Operate large mixers for powder material and water
- Cast various sized products using refractory and vibration practices
- Strict adherence to quality standards and ability to inspect products to ensure they meet customer requirements and company standards
- Use basic hand, electric and pneumatic tools
- Safely operate a tow motor and other electric vehicles
- Operate small machinery such as drill presses and arbor presses
- Work individually, and as part of a team, to ensure quality products are completed on time
- Use overhead cranes to lift, move, and manipulate larger parts
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas

- Previous experience in heavy manufacturing preferably in a mixing environment
- Experience using basic hand tools and small machinery
- Mechanical aptitude required to diagnose and solve problems that arise during manufacturing processes
- Experience using overhead cranes and hoists preferred
- Experience on a tow motor is preferred
- Highschool or GED
