International Documentation/Inbound Traffic Specialist

Fives North American Combustion, Inc. is hiring a permanent, full-time International Documentation/Inbound Traffic Specialist to join our team in Cleveland, OH.

At Fives, we all have a part to play in achieving our common mission. Your role will be:
- Vendor and Carrier Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with international suppliers, carriers, and logistics providers. Negotiate contracts and rates with carriers to optimize shipping costs and service levels.
- Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve any issues related to documentation, customs clearance, or inbound logistics. Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., purchasing, inventory, and customer service) to address and mitigate any disruptions in the supply chain.
- Documentation Management: Prepare, review, and manage all required documentation for the importation of goods, including bills of lading, certificates of origin, and commercial invoices. Ensure all documents comply with international trade regulations and company policies.
- Inbound Traffic Coordination: Coordinate the inbound movement of goods from international suppliers to designated warehouses or distribution centers.

- 3-5 years of experience in international logistics, import/export documentation, or inbound traffic management.
- Bachelor’s degree in international business, logistics, supply chain or related field
- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) and logistics software.
- Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and international suppliers.
