Senior Contracts Manager

Fives Inc is actively seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to join their teams supporting North America.

We are currently seeking a Senior Contracts Manager, who has the same desire to prove that 

industry can do it!

Your role will require a high level of business orientation with focus on problem solving and supporting projects, while upholding strong ethics and integrity across the organization. The role reports to the North America General Counsel and works with all North American subsidiaries.

In your primary role, you will be responsible for the following:

•               Provide clear contractual analysis and advice to the project team on matters concerning contractual obligations

•               Evaluating contractual outgoing and/or incoming claims and support the project team to enforce/defend claims (including preparation of and participation in negotiations).

•               Developing and implementing claim strategies as well as maintaining a systematic management of incoming and outgoing claims.

•               Documenting all claim relevant events and contract deviations during execution in a structured way by using the applicable tools.

•               Drafting and negotiating change orders and other contractual documents to support the project execution team.

At Fives Inc and under the direction of the General Counsel, you will join the North American Legal team.

We are seeking someone who has a bachelor’s degree in business or engineering, an advanced legal degree is not required, but at least 5 years of experience in contract management and legal writing skills within industry.
