Role: JD for Services Business Development & Technical Aftersales - Mechanical

 

Experience:                                        15 + Years of experience in Aluminium Smelting

 

Industry:                                              Aluminium

 

Educational Qualification:                B.E in Mechanical Engineering

  3. Experience Audit & Repair services
  4. Advanced understanding of Pneumatic & Hydraulic circuits
  5. Basic understanding & execution of various maintenance philosophies
  6. Mechanical Machinery overhauling
  7. Assessing risk associated with site activities & preparing detailed HIRADEC

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  1. Lead and manage equipment refurbishment, overhaul, and modernization activities.
  2. Provide technical support to customers for mechanical products
  3. Perform on-site diagnostics, troubleshooting, and service interventions.
  4. Visit customer sites to carry out upgrades, inspections, testing, commissioning support, and technical assessments.
  5. Be available for frequent travel to customer locations.
  6. Ensure all activities are executed in accordance with Fives safety standards and customer HSE requirements.
  7. Support external and internal sales teams by providing technical expertise, site assessments, and commercial inputs.
  8. Review technical reports, service findings, and RCA reports for critical equipment issues.
  9. Recommend corrective and preventive actions to improve equipment availability, productivity, and asset reliability.
  10. Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints, technical issues, and service requests.
  11. Serve as the primary technical interface for key customers on mechanical aftersales and service related matters.
  12. Conduct regular customer visits to understand operational challenges, maintenance requirements, and future business opportunities.
