NPI Engineer
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced NPI Engineer to lead product industrialization and transfer from R&D to high-volume manufacturing, ensuring fast time-to-market, design robustness, and production readiness.
Our multidisciplinary systems include precision mechanical assemblies, electrical and electronic boards (COTS and custom), and cable harnesses integrated into complex electro-mechanical products.
The NPI Engineer owns the end-to-end NPI process — from design validation and DFM/DFT optimization through prototyping, pilot builds, and production ramp-up — ensuring configuration control, manufacturability, quality, and reliability for stable serial production. Acting as the technical interface between R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Contract Manufacturers, this role drives product maturity, process capability, and scalable production performance.
Key Responsibilities
-
Lead system and product integration to ensure compliance with specifications, on-time delivery, and high quality throughout the design-to-production lifecycle, while managing both technical and operational aspects.
-
Create and maintain Engineering and Manufacturing documentation and specifications, including implementation of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and product lifecycle management (PLM).
-
Work closely with R&D across disciplines, suppliers, and contract manufacturers (full turnkey) to support the development, design, build, and testing of new production assemblies and cabinet systems (prototype, alpha, beta, and production units).
-
Manage configuration control, BOM structure readiness, and continuous improvements.
-
Prepare production files, define production flow, and develop work instructions and procedures.
What You Will Need to Succeed
-
B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
-
Minimum of 8 years of experience in similar NPI roles.
-
Proven experience working with multidisciplinary systems and equipment.
-
Hands-on experience with manufacturing and production processes.
-
High-level English proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking).
-
Strong understanding of BOM structures and procedure preparation.
-
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Project) and Priority.
-
Strong problem-solving skills, well organized, and detail-oriented.
-
Ownership mindset with the ability to drive tasks to successful completion and deliver clear, accurate documentation.
