We are looking for a Deployment Manager to lead the on-site deployment of advanced warehouse automation systems.

The Deployment Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and executing the deployment of Caja–FIL Robotics warehouse automation systems at customer sites.

In this role, you will lead projects from the design phase through on-site installation of the physical system components. You will work closely with the Project Manager as projects transition from design to installation and will hand over the site to the Project Manager for testing, commissioning, and customer acceptance upon completion of the on-site installation.

The Deployment Manager serves as the primary on-site leader during deployment activities and collaborates closely with Project Management, Service & Support, R&D, Product, and Operations teams to ensure successful end-to-end delivery.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end deployment of robotic warehouse automation systems at customer sites
  • Responsible for the warehouse layout design and site infrastructure requirements (LAN, electrical, network)
  • Conduct and coordinate site surveys to ensure compliance with product specifications
  • Manage installation activities, subcontractors, vendors, and material delivery
  • Act as the main on-site customer interface during deployment
  • Identify deployment risks and drive mitigation plans throughout the project lifecycle
  • Creation of relevant standards & processes to ensure the smooth execution of Deployment responsibilities
  • Identify opportunities for automation or technological improvements to existing processes &/or tools
  • Support system deployments for demos and marketing exhibitions

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in engineering, deployment, or system design roles
  • Strong proficiency in Autodesk tools - mandatory
  • Willingness to travel frequently
  • Experience in warehouse automation or robotics – advantage
  • Civil Engineering degree – advantage
