The Mechanical Technician will work as part of a multi-skilled team and be responsible for a wide range of tasks in the build and assembly of high precision special purpose machinery at the Cranfield Precision site in Bedfordshire.
Duties Include:
- Hydraulic and pneumatic machine connections, and the ability to interpret and assemble t drawing.
- Build of ultra-precision machine tools and sub-assemblies, with confidence in the use of micron and arc second data.
- Alignment of machine components.
- Problem-solving and fault-finding in a logical and methodical manner.
