About the job
We are seeking a motivated After Sales Services Technician to join our After Sales Team as Field Service Technician. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge industrial equipment, travel internationally, and represent our company directly at customer sites, ensuring optimal performance, building strong client relationships, and showcasing our technical excellence and commitment to service.
Our site in Allschwil, Switzerland is one of the world leaders in the design and manufacture of cryogenic pumps for the liquefied gas industry.
What you’ll do
- Intervene at customer sites for the commissioning, diagnosis, or maintenance of our cryogenic pumps and provide support.
- Maintain and repair our installations at customer sites in compliance with safety regulations.
- You will travel regularly, approximately 60% of your annualized time, for periods ranging from a few days to several weeks (including weekends), in Europe and worldwide.
- When you are not traveling, you will be based at our site in Allschwil, Switzerland, providing support in various office activities, remote customer support and service sales support, while working closely with the company's various departments.
What You Bring
We’re seeking a qualified professional with a degree from an engineering school (specializing in industrial maintenance, industrial control, or mechanics) and relevant professional experience.
- Solid experience in maintenance, particularly in one or more of the following areas: mechanics, instrumentation, electrical engineering, or general industrial electricity.
- Experience with rotary equipment and/or industrial pumps is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with cryogenic pumps is a plus.
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken (minimum B2 level). Additional language skills are an asset.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally approximately 120 days per year.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Flexibility and adaptability are essential due to frequent travel and customer-specific requirements.
- You are pragmatic, independent, and capable of handling situations autonomously in the field.
- As the sole representative of our company during customer visits, your professionalism, rigor, and interpersonal skills are key to upholding our company’s standards and values.
- You must be able to produce detailed, accurate, and insightful reports following your interventions, audits, and customer support activities.
